Leaders in Training (LIT)

A pre-Symposium camp designed to equip young pharmacists with essential leadership skills for their future roles in the profession.

LIT is IPSF AfRO's official leadership development program, aiming to train participants in soft skills, leadership, and management competencies.

This three-day program welcomes participants before the African Pharmaceutical Symposium, offering a transformative experience to maximize their leadership potential.

At the 14th IPSF AfPS in 2026, participants will engage in a range of Professional Development Events designed to build their skills for future pharmacy practice. Competitions in compounding, clinical skills, patient counselling, and industrial pharmacy will offer hands-on learning experiences that enhance competence and strengthen professional practice.

Regional Assembly

IPSF AfRO Regional Assembly

The 2026 AfPS in Kigali will also host the IPSF AfRO Regional Assembly, the region's highest decision-making body. Member associations will send official delegates to review motions, make key governance decisions, and elect the next Regional Working Group Committee. The Assembly guides the strategic direction of the region.
